This trip mixes the old with the new time. We start our journey heading to the seaside and tourist village Kalyves and our visit to a traditional olive mill.
We will continue to visit the ruins of Aptera, an ancient Greek city which was built in the 8th century BC. And continued to be developed during the Roman and Byzantine period.
We continue our route to the village of Kerameia and specifically to the settlement of Achlades, a small village that was always inhabited by a small number of people (inhabitants). In this small village, with a nice view, there is a private war collection which is hosted with passion and love. The collection mostly includes weapons that are dated since 1856.
Our trip will end with having lunch in a traditional tavern to the village of Drakona. There you will enjoy the quality of Cretan food. The food is prepared with a traditional way.
